About the UAE Weightlifting Federation

The UAE Weightlifting Federation is the official body governing and overseeing weightlifting in the United Arab Emirates. It was founded in 1984 under the umbrella of the UAE National Olympic Committee. The federation is responsible for developing and organising weightlifting at every level, supported by the vision and guidance of the nation’s leadership. It holds full membership of both the IWF and the AWF.
